Self-serve vs installed systems
Most digital menu board suppliers sell you panels, send an engineer, and hand over a content system as part of the project. MenuScreens is just the software — running on the screens you already have, priced on the page, live the same day.
Any smart TV, tablet, or monitor with a web browser. Open the screen URL and it starts playing. No commercial panel purchase, no media player box, no lock-in to one manufacturer.
Sign up, upload your menu images, assign a template, open the URL on the TV. There is no survey to book, no quote to approve, and nobody has to visit your premises.
Every screen reports in continuously. You see which screens are online, which went dark and when, and whether a screen is showing the template your schedule says it should be. Push a fix to all of them in one click.
An honest comparison. There are rows here where an installed system is the better answer — they are in the table too.
Installed systems are quoted per project, so we can only be precise about our own price. Here is ours, in full.
Suppliers who bundle a free content system typically recover that cost in the hardware, installation, and design line items instead. Ask any supplier for an itemised quote and compare the total, not the software line.
None of that is what we do — we sell software, not fit-outs. If you go that route, hire the installer. You can still run MenuScreens on the screens they put up.
The free plan covers one screen forever. No card, no quote, no visit.
